Administrative Assistant
I was born and raised in Elkton. I grew up in the Elkton Evangelical United Brethren Church (EUB, our former church name), with my two siblings under grandpa and grandma Snider and Merv and Phyllis Snider’s guidance. In 1969 graduated from Laker High School and attended Spring Arbor College. I completed my degree in Human Resources in 1985. I worked for Michigan State University in the College of Human Medicine for 20 years as an Administrative Assistant for the medical education department. I went on to complete my training in massage therapy and had my own business for 20 years.
Jack and I have been married for 28 years. We enjoy sailing, kayaking, traveling, and hanging out with the York kids and grandkids. We have two dogs that keep us busy. In 1995, I was visiting the Elkton UMC. I debated about going to the Sunday service but knew my parents would be there so I decided to attend. The message I heard that Sunday changed my life forever. And now, I am ever so grateful for the St. Paul Methodist Church of Elkton and our pastor’s deep commitment to the teachings of the Bible. I am also grateful to come full circle and serve as the Administrative Assistant for the St. Paul Methodist Church of Elkton.
